We came down to breakfast this morning to find the area teaming with families! We had to weave through everyone just to get our food! At least we got a table to eat it at!
Abigail and Emily enjoy their breakfast.
Then, we drove the fairly short distance to Bedford Ave. to see the house we used to live in when Papa was in medical school nearby. Years ago, we had it painted from gold-yellow to blue. As you can see, it's still blue!

As we left that road, we saw the nearby church where we went once to VBS. I think I lost a toy there, as well.

Then we drove on to Kansas City, MO. We had intended to take the girls to Kaleidoscope which is provided by Hallmark. It's a place where kids can be creative and use paper products and left overs from Hallmark to make things. It's located in Crown Plaza.

After our short visit to Kaleidoscope, we looked in at Legoland only to find out it was very expensive. So we went to the plaza to have our picnic lunch, instead.

As we were leaving Kansas City, we made our way over a suspension bridge, the design of which impressed us!
We made it to Jeannette Wetmore's (Marta's sister-in-law) place that evening in time to visit, swim, have supper, and then the girls went with her to the park to play. A nice conclusion to a long day.
